Dear Teachers and Students!
Education is one of the most important factors for a
successful future. With the opening of the Franconian International
School in Erlangen, a milestone was set in our goal to offer diversity
for the educational aspect of our city. This was achieved with the help
of dedicated supporters, all located in this region. Without any doubt,
the FIS is a great addition to our community, especially due to its
philosophy of internationality and sustainability . With “EsSANDtials
of our world” the FIS and the teams of architects will create an
impressive art project from children for children. Our claim of being a
child and family friendly community will be promoted and our city will
receive both exceptional and educational art work. We would be very
pleased if you would join this global project and help us to support the
educational system of our city.

Liebe Lehrer, liebe Schüler!
Bildung ist ein, wenn nicht der entscheidende Zukunftsfaktor. Mit der Eröffnung der Franconian International School in unserem neuen attraktiven Stadtteil Röthelheimpark hat unsere Stadt, die das Thema Bildung zum zentralen Schwerpunkt ihrer kommunalpolitischen Arbeit erhoben hat, dank der Unterstützung zahlreicher Förderer, einen wichtigen Meilenstein zur Komplettierung unserer alle Schularten umfassenden Bildungslandschaft erreicht. Aber nicht nur das: Die FIS stellt darüber hinaus langfristig zweifellos einen großartigen Gewinn für die Internationalität und Zukunftsfähigkeit unserer Kommune dar.
Mit „EsSANDtials of our world“ haben die FIS und das Team von djb-Architekten ein beeindruckendes Artwork-Projekt kreiert, das von Kindern für Kinder gemacht, den Ruf Erlangens als kinder- und familienfreundliche Kommune auf sympathische Weise in alle Welt transportiert. Gleichzeitig erhält unsere Stadt ein eindrucksvolles Kunstobjekt mit Lehrcharakter. Werden Sie ein Teil dieses weltumspannenden Projektes und fördern Sie gleichzeitig das Bildungssystem unserer Stadt.
